This is now the "norm" for him and he will be monitored yearly. He is to carry on with everything that he is doing. I guess we were just disappointed that he has a condition, as a result. All of this came about two days before we left for Florida to take Georgia and Charlie to Disney World. We left, with some apprehension, but we had a wonderful vacation.

Charlie is back to his usual self with school, hockey, violin and all other things that ten year old boys do. Charlie had his seven month checkup three weeks ago (that we were desperate for him to have just to ensure all was well). We learnt that he has what is called a "bundle branch block". Bundle branch block is a condition where there is a delay or obstruction along the pathway that electrical impulses travel to make your heart beat. Apparently, this is a result of having the heart surgery. The doctor said that his heart is healthy and is fine.
